HRV Heartrate Variability Scan

30 min | $75 | In-Person Only

Measure Stress. Improve Resilience.

A Heart Rate Variability Scan is a simple, non-invasive wellness assessment that looks at the small variations in time between each heartbeat. Rather than measuring only how fast your heart is beating, it offers insight into how your autonomic nervous system is responding to stress, rest, and recovery. HRV reflects the ongoing interaction between the sympathetic “fight or flight” response and the parasympathetic “rest and restore” response.

God designed the body with remarkable systems that continually communicate, adapt, and work toward balance. By observing heart rate variability, we can gain a clearer picture of how well your body may be adjusting to the demands placed upon it.

During the scan, a sensor records the timing between your heartbeats while you remain comfortably seated and relaxed. The results are then reviewed with you, helping identify patterns that may be useful when considering stress management, sleep, movement, nutrition, hydration, and other supportive wellness choices.

What Makes the Heart Rate Variability Scan Unique:

  • More Than a Heart Rate Reading – Your pulse tells us how many times your heart beats per minute. HRV examines the changing intervals between those beats, providing additional information about the body’s ability to adapt.

  • A Look at Nervous System Balance – The scan helps illustrate the relationship between the body’s stress response and its rest-and-recovery response. Increased sympathetic activity is commonly associated with stress, while parasympathetic activity supports relaxation and recovery.

  • Personalized Wellness Insight – HRV can be influenced by factors such as:

    • Emotional and physical stress

    • Sleep and fatigue

    • Exercise and physical exertion

    • Illness or physical strain

    • Breathing patterns

    • Medications and other individual health factors

  • Simple and Non-Invasive – The scan does not require needles, radiation, or an invasive procedure. It is designed to provide a comfortable snapshot of how the body is responding at the time of testing.

  • Helpful for Tracking Patterns – Repeating the scan over time may help you observe how your body responds to lifestyle changes, restorative practices, or periods of increased stress. Because HRV varies from person to person, your own patterns are often more useful than comparing your results with someone else’s.

  • Supports Informed Wellness Choices – Your results can be considered alongside your health history, current concerns, and personal wellness goals. The purpose is not to label the body, but to better understand it and make thoughtful decisions about supporting it.

The Heart Rate Variability Scan provides an opportunity to slow down and listen to what your body may be communicating. It can help bring awareness to areas where additional rest, nourishment, stress support, or lifestyle adjustments may be beneficial.

Why Choose a Heart Rate Variability Scan?

Many people feel tired, overwhelmed, or unable to fully recover without understanding how much strain their body may be carrying. An HRV scan offers a visual way to explore how your nervous system is responding and whether your body appears to be operating primarily from a place of stress or recovery.

This assessment may be helpful when you are seeking greater insight into your stress patterns, energy, sleep, recovery, or overall resilience. It provides another tool for stewarding your health wisely and supporting the body according to the thoughtful design God has given it.

The Heart Rate Variability Scan is a wellness assessment and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.
